Does Bioenergy matter for the Energy Transition?
The SCCER BIOSWEET will organize its 5th Biomass for Swiss Energy Future Conference, to be held on 4thSeptember 2018, at the WSL in Birmensdorf.
This year‘s event will focus on the role of biomass in the energy transition, in particular on the integration of bioenergy technologies into the energy system. Aspects such as biomass resources, conversion chains and bioenergy services will be discussed in a Swiss and international context while paying attention to the environmenal and socioeconomic dimension.
Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about SCCER BIOSWEET’s R&D activities. The event also provides a forum for a dialogue between bioenergy researchers and application partners, with the goal of fostering innovation in the field of bioenergy.
